They were the first make of FF stockings that Mrs JS wore back in the late 1970's and continued to wear them until the late 1990's. Ursula Harrison Posted August 26 Report Share Posted August 26 Anybody interested in that sort of thing - in other words anybody who visits this site - who was out and about in the UK in the late 1970s and early 1980s will remember Aristoc Harmony as fully fashioned stockings enjoyed something of a revival then. They were the last fully fashioned stockings produced by a a major manufacturer until Aristoc discontinued production in 1989. The machines used to make them were later purchased by Gio as you can tell by their identical appearance to Aristoc Harmony with the double ladder stop in the shadow welt. Unfortunately the yarn used in Gio is much inferior so the discovery of a pair of Harmony Point, the originals, is indeed something to celebrate.
