ratrob
Question to the board out there. I hear so many people say Wolfords are the best, but they are close to $40 American dollars a pair. Are they worth it?

Winterman
Whatever the denier, they always feel silky and smooth. They look pretty uniform over the entire leg, comfortable to wear (so I'm told), and can be really durable if handled with care. Was fortunate enough to buy my good lady about 45 pairs for around the £100 mark a while ago. There's still plenty in packets so they can't be all bad. MrAverage56
In a word, yes!
Michelle_Z TG
Where are they $40? The Wolford store in Chicago had them at $80 a pair before covid hit, then the closed the store.
Stockings5x1
Yup. It's the feel and it's the look.
Scotscouple20
Yes the are amazing to wear stockings or tights look and feel fantastic…. only issue is heartbreak is when you ladder or snag them!!!
Adrian G
Yes definitely worth it. You can tell the difference between Wolfords and lesser tights/stockings by the comfort level, fit, quality of the weave and durability. Always been my favourites and although expensive, if you shop around you can get them at a bargain price
ruby
I buy Wolford Neons and yes they are very expensive, but they last for ages and really look good. The thing I like about the Neons is the gloss shine, they make anyone's legs look better. Sadly I think they have stopped making them. And, yes, they’re definitely worth it. A friend’s well-off mother wears Wolford, and Wolford only, and her legs always look immaculate. Clearly better quality. I honestly don't know, perhaps they were too expensive or too thick (they are 40 denier).

Sorry, I meant what causes you to think they’re discontinued? They seem to be in stock in many places including the Wolford website. They do often discontinue colours, but I’d be really disappointed if the line was being discontinued. There are cheaper versions, but none as good, IMO. Yes I think that they are brilliant.
swane1
Definitely worth it. Nothing beats the feel of leg support individual 10s or individual 5s on freshly shaven legs! I am not a fan of satin 20s or neon 40s. Nice tights but for the price i expects more in terms of feel.
sucker for seams
Some people obviously think they are worth a lot of money as a pair of small white Wolford Fatal Neo Tights sold on ebay in the USA at the end of March for $495.00 (20 bids) and a week or so ago anoher pair sold for $200.00 (1 bid) !! CrossdressJessica
I’ve got 2 pairs of individual 10’s (nude & black). They are wonderful & very high quality but potentially wasted on my legs. Was heartbroken when I snagged a pair.

jamesnylonlouise
Compatible CdR’s aren’t much cheaper than Wolford

Susan d'Aristoc
Have to agree with Evo, Fatal 15's feel wonderful to wear with a very silky finish and that seamless aspect is, well ... just mmmm! Definitely worth it for those special occasions.
Hosierylover
Aren’t the Wolford neon 40 seamless’s discontinued/mythical :p? I think Wolford is worth the price, so is Falke. I only have a half dozen odd pairs of them, but very high quality(ill buy another pair Individual 50’s at some point).
LoveShapelyLegs
my wife likes wolfords as an american living here in UK, because she says they're comfortable, and i say they look sexy -- especially the sheer black back seamed tights she wears in bed with me 🙂 but to answer your question, worth it is subjective. if you cand spend the money, sure, why not. are gios worth it? cervins? CdR tights? depends on what gets you off. in the USA there are hanes sheer reflections pantyhose which come close to wolfords in terms of knit, feel, and comfort. the ones with the "french cut panty" are really sexy -- and i loved them on my wife when she wore them in america.....especially the cotton gusset 🙂 they cost about half that of wolfords.
