Anyone looking at ginnimiller on flickr?  Some are a bit fuzzy, but all candid and interesting.

They bring back memories from my teenage years.

Oh for the halcyon days of the mid-60s when skirt hems had started to rise but the dreaded tights had not yet appeared.  Stocking tops on women of all ages was a daily sight and, for a testosterone filled teenager like me, it was heaven.

Looks like me and my friends in High School, LOL!

I was in High School from 1965-1969, the golden era for short skirts worn with gartered stockings.

My Mom told me it was in very poor taste to ever show one's stocking tops in public. But by 1967-68, that became almost impossible if fashionably short skirts were worn.

I remember being very careful when school yearbook pictures were taken. There was nothing more embarrassing than being seen displaying stocking tops  in a yearbook photo, for everyone to see; forever!
