Off-topic forum

What's in a name? Ironically nothing is off-topic in the off-topic forum, with the usual caveats about not posting anything libelous, defamatory, obscene or illegal.

Some people are so stupid when re - uploading photos that other people took to Flickr.

I took a photo back in 2015 at the Severn Valley Railway 1940's event, which showed a lady in a black see through dress where you could see that she was wearing stockings and suspenders.

The photo was taken at the entrance to Bridgnoth Station and also has within a large Union jack flag, along with a stream of little union jack flags.

The lady in the photo is talking to a photographer.  Now I am not sure where they got the photo from as I have long since removed the photo from anywhere on the web.  However, the person that loaded it to their flickr account on the 3rd May this year is claiming the photo as their own.

      The photo in question is

I have contacted the person to have the photo removed, as they have uploaded it without my permission and have also contacted the admin of the group that it has been uploaded too as well.

Now, it is because of this sort of thing happening that people leave these forums.  Especially when it is done with photos that have been uploaded to here for people's enjoyment.

If you want to use a photo, then ask the person that uploaded it to here or the original photographer of the photo before doing so.
